2.7 User Defined Fields (UDF)

Learn how to create entirely new fields not standard in P6 (e.g., Contract Number, Consultant Name).
If you can't find a specific field, Primavera allows you to "build it yourself" using **UDFs**.
1. Creating the UDF
Open **Enterprise** > **User Defined Fields**. Select the Data Type (Text, Number, Date). Example: Soil Type at site.
2. Displaying and Entering Data
Add your new field as a column in any window and demonstrate manual data entry.
